COBALTO ON INCLUDED CALCITE WITH KOLWEZITE

This material comes from what l believe is to be the Mashamba West Mining area of the Musonoi Mine out of Kolwezi mining district of Kolwezi, Lualaba and DR Congo. the contrast of the deep magenta color of the cobaltoan and the gentle moss green color of the kolwezite ( which is hiding on both front and back ) makes for a very complimentary aesthetic. They are small but there. The black contrast of the included calcite is even better of a contrast. Pink against black is always amazing in nature but hardly seen.
