PURPLE AND GREEN ARAGONITE FROM SPAIN

Beautiful purple and green hued twinned aragonite crystal from Clay Quarry, Valencia, Valencian Community, Spain. The inclusions that give these crystals their color can vary from strontium, magnesium, lead, and zinc. These have not been found on the market as often as a few years ago and are loved by collectors not only due to their color but their great pseudo-hexagonal (6-sided) crystal habit.
