SMITHSONITE ON MATRIX FROM KELLY MINE

A beautiful example of Smithsonite out of the very famous Kelly Mine, Magdalena Mining District, Socorro County, New Mexico, USA

This lustrous botryoidal example of beautiful London blue smithsonite is a beautiful specimen from an old collection circa 1950s. Being able to see the contrast of Smithsonite in comparison to its beautiful matrix is an added treat. There is an old collection tag on the piece and it comes with an old tag but not the original tag from the first owner.
