" TANZANITE " FLUORITE ON MATRIX FROM CHINA

Nice sized fluorite on matrix from the 2017 find out of the Quanzhou Prefecture, Fujian Prov., out of China. This piece in particular has beautiful phantom zones in the larger crystals that are hard to pick up on camera. Its saturation and color are also being camera shy and I would say they are better in person. They got their nickname Tanzanite Fluorite due to the color hue of the crystals in person. They provide a blue and purple color at the same time.
